So I’ve finished my first board now, based on research into the mid-70s single fin. It has a long, narrow rounded pin tail, a wide point about 5 inches forward of centre and is nice and thick, to give me lots of paddling power. Its dimensions are – 6’5″ x 18 3/4″ x 2 3/4″.
